What a beautiful and colorful vintage produce label this is, advertising Hula Apples for the Universal Fruit & Produce Co. out of Seattle, Washington. The beautiful bare chested hula wahine (woman) holds up a ripe apple, with calm ocean waters and large palm tree behind her. Hawaii had quite a mystique and romance about it during this era, and many businesses used tropical imagery to market their products.
This full color printed label measures 10 inches by 9 inches and is in very good vintage condition. The color litho is bright and crisp. There are a couple of small staple holes in the bottom corner.
