Large 1950s Vintage German Bavarian Oktoberfest Alpine Hiking Hat Elk Deer Stag Pin with Genuine Fur and Feathers, Mid Century German Alpine Trachten Brooch

Handsome very hard to find extra large vintage German alpine hat pin featuring a large spray of genuine deer fur, colorful bird feathers, and large 3D antlered elk! Wow! Authentic mid century 1950s-1960s vintage trachten alpine hat brooch.

We rarely come across such a nice vintage Bavarian Oktoberfest hiking hunting hat pin as this. The elk image is rare as well. The soft, light brown swatch of fur has nice ivory color tips. It holds the large silvertone antlered elk that appears to be bleating or bawling. Oak leaves border the bottom. A colorful cluster of bird feathers adds distinction to this fine vintage hat pin. Cinnamon colored feathers (quail) and a larger bright green feather lie on top of two long, thin feathers which protrude well over an inch at the top. It was hand crafted and hand assembled which is apparent in the back view which shows stitches and binding. It measures an impressive large 3.5 inches wide and 4.5 inches tall to the top of the feathers. It is in fabulous, mint condition.
