1800s Antique Copper Molds Pudding Jelly, TWO Primitive Copper Tin Moulds Hand Pressed Forged Metal 'Egypt' Mark
Fantastic pair of hard to find antique kitchen food jelly jello molds, pressed and punched Egyptian copper with a lovely fluted design! Mid-1800s.
We recently purchased a nice lot of primitive kitchen antiques, many from the Civil War era, and this fine pair of copper tin pudding cake dessert molds were among them. Please see the detail photos to appreciate their features, and don't miss the fun hand punched design in the bottoms. Each is different, one a flower or clover design!
Each antique 19th century mold measures 5 inches wide and 2 inches deep. The sides are deeply ribbed and fluted, and the edge is crimped. Both are marked "Egypt" on the bottom. The interiors measure 4.25 inches across. The patina is in beautiful antique condition, showing so much character and lovely hues of copper and silver that gleam. Both molds are free of dents and could be put to use in your kitchen today!
What a wonderful matching set of 1800s antique primitive Egyptian copper kitchen pudding jelly cake dessert molds moulds to add to your collection, or display as antique decor in a country or rustic kitchen!
