1960s Vintage Hawaii Teacup Set, Hand Painted Aloha Hawaii Souvenir Tea Cup and Saucer, Diamond Head Waikiki Hawaii, Vintage Hawaiiana Decor

Fabulous vintage hand painted Hawaii cup and saucer, both featuring beautiful color illustrations of the classic Diamond Head Waikiki landmark and serene beach scene! Circa 1960s Japan porcelain.

This is a wonderful mid century Hawaiiana souvenir teacup with matching plate. The hand painted design is executed in blues, greens, and lavender over a light blue sky. Classic palm trees frame the idyllic Diamond Head volcano, with aqua blue water that wraps around the cup. Both feature the text, "Aloha Hawaii" in the center. Both the plate edge and cup rim are fluted and gilt lined. This vintage Hawaii cup and saucer set is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The illustrations are clear and crisp with no scratches or paint loss. The cup measures 2.25 inches tall by 4.75 inches wide to the handle edge. There is some bare minimum wear to the gilt rim. The saucer is 5.5 inches. They are unmarked but are clearly mid century hand painted Japan porcelain souvenir pieces. These were very popular to sell to tourists at Waikiki and other Hawaiian island destinations.
