1900s Antique Double Sided Head Christmas Ornament, Two Faced Man Two Sided Figural Mercury Glass Ornament, Double Head Christmas Ornaments, Black Man Head     $120.00 Excellent, hard to find early double head mercury glass ornament, featuring a tall pike and long tail finial! Early 1900s, Germany. The glass is very thin and fine, typical of this early era of German ornament making. The face is deeply molded on both sides, with hand painted faces and pink/red hair. It measures 2 inches tall from the top of the pike to the bottom of the tail finial. The mercury glass head measures 1.25 inches tall. It is in excellent condition free of chips or cracks. Our photos show all sides of this special ornament. An original wire hanging loop was inserted into the ornament and attached as shown. We have left it as found, part of its provenance.
