SALE . . . 50% OFF! TWO fabulous vintage Purinton Pottery cup and saucer sets, in the classic Normandy Plaid pattern! Circa 1955. These mid century maroon and green plaid cup and saucer sets are super hard to find. The ceramic is off-white slip ware, hand painted with wide maroon stripes, and interlaced with forest green and light green squiggles. The saucers are slightly oblong and measure 5 3/8 inches by 4 7/8 inches. The cups are also slightly irregular, each being hand crafted slipware. They measure 4.25 inches wide to the handle end and stand 2.5 inches tall. All four pieces are in mint condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The finish is still very glossy showing no wear.
