Wonderful antique German mercury glass clip on bird Christmas ornament, pretty silver and blue!

The bird is highly sculptural with finely molded feather and wing details. The long pointed beak is super fine and thin. The tail feathers are the original spun glass in a silvery-white color.

It measures 4 inches long, beak tip to tail end. The blown glass body is 2.75 inches. The double spring legs are attached to the rectangular metal clip. It is in excellent condition with no chip or breaks. There is a bit of usual oxidation on the tail end and clip.

What a beautiful and striking vintage German clip on bird Christmas ornament. A fabulous addition to any antique ornament collection!
