1900s Antique Tinsel and Glass Tree Topper Fireworks Style Tinsel Tree Top Germany, Victorian Tree Topper, Tinsel Fire Works Tree Topper $85.00 Spectacular antique German tinsel and glass fireworks style tree topper, early 1900s. Fabulous! This is a stunning antique Victorian mercury glass and tinsel Christmas tree topper, in excellent condition. Nine rays of silver tinsel are arranged in an exploding fireworks design, with the longest ray framed by four arms on each side. All nine are finished with a colorful striped glass mercury bead at the end. The alternating colors are so vibrant after all of these years! The bottom is fitted with a large, thick needle which attaches to the top of the tree. It is in mint condition with no tarnishing to the tinsel, nor damage to the glass beads. The tinsel has taken on a golden hue which is so sparkly and pretty. It is in amazing condition considering it is well over 110 years old!
