1930s Antique Figural Glass Clown with Accordion Ornament Germany, Vintage Silver Clown Ornament, Antique Mercury Glass Christmas Ornaments  $42.00 Fun early blown glass clown Christmas ornament from Germany, circa late 1920s to mid 1930s. He's a happy, entertaining clown with a hand painted face and dotted features. He wears a shiny silver suit with a bright gold ruffled collar. His old fashioned accordion instrument is nicely molded. The hat creates the tall pike, with these taller pikes being an indicator of this early era of German ornament making. It is topped with its original metal cap stamped "Germany". He stands 3.75 inches tall to the top of the cap, and is in excellent condition. The pike is intact, the ornament free of chips or cracks. There is a bit of oxidation on the cap.
