SALE . . . 20% OFF! Incredible mid century modern genuine wood lacquerware serving set, featuring a striking vase design with hand painted gold accents and abalone shell inlay. Stunning and rare, circa 1960s! This is a superb Japanese wood lacquer plate set, not faux plastic that is so common! The brown color is somewhat rare, along with the interesting mod design and hand applied decoration. The large plate platter measures 9 inches and the five serving plates are 5.25 inches. All are in excellent vintage condition, the lacquer still shiny and gleaming, the decoration crisp and free of scratches. There is one small chip on one of the small plates.
