SALE . . . 25% OFF!  This striking mid century modern decorative ashtray is too Cool! It is a classic teardrop shape, made of clear lucite over black which has been scattered with abalone shell pieces. 

They are strategically placed, forming a circle around the black glass ashtray. Smaller pieces which look like glitter are interspersed between the larger  pieces, making this piece sparkle and shine. The inherent quality of the abalone provides a lovely rainbow sheen to many of the pieces. The photos do not do this piece justice!

This is a two piece ashtray measuring 8.25 inches by 5.5 inches. There is a hole in the middle to hold the two prong glass ashtray. The bottom is lined with cork. It is in great vintage condition with very minor wear, the lucite is free of marks. Vintage lucite is often scratched or scuffed. This piece is in amazing condition for its age! There is one tiny chip on the bottom edge (barely noticeable), and the cork has a water stain.

Great atomic ashtray for mid mod home decor, or use as a retro dresser accessory tray. We've seen these with a small flower frog set in the ashtray for use in a floral arrangement. Nice accent in a beachside or ocean setting!
