SALE . . . 20% OFF! Fabulous discontinued vintage Noritake handled serving bowl, in the gorgeous Phyllis 318 floral pattern! Circa 1930s. This beautiful large gilt vegetable bowl is simply wonderful with its graceful gold handles and colorful floral design. The fine porcelain ceramic is bright white and glossy. The lovely flower bouquets are vintage transferware which is still crisp and clean without scratches or missing ares. Find roses, asters, bells, mums, and even a few blue forget-me-not flowers! The edges are rimmed in bright gold. It is a large size serving bowl measuring 10.5 inches wide by 8 inches. It is back stamped with the Noritake China "M" in wreath mark: Noritake It is in excellent condition free of chips, cracks, or repairs. The finish is still very glossy showing no wear and the transferware is crisp without scratches. This is somewhat amazing due to its age and the fragility of printed transferware. The gilt rim and handles show minimal wear. This beautiful large size 1930s Phyllis floral handled serving bowl is one of the hardest pieces to find, quite rare.
