SALE . . . 30% OFF! Lovely and sensitive Hawaiian oil painting of a young wahine woman in profile, wearing a headdress of beautiful flowers. Mid century vintage Hawaiiana! It is oil on canvas and a nice size measuring 9 inches wide by 12 inches tall. The brush strokes are simple yet complete with expressive Polynesian features and contour. She looks off to the side and appears to be on a beach with the tropical blue background as the ocean. Her graceful neck flows to her shoulder which shows a strap of her dress. Her head is topped with a wreath of local hibiscus flowers in typical hula fashion. The bottom right corner is signed with the artist initials, FGZ. It is in excellent condition free of wear or scratches. The canvas has been stretched around a wood frame with hanging wire attached, ready to display.
